I feel like I’m beginning to sound like a broken record when it comes to discussing the fated quality of the people whose paths have crossed mine, but maybe the universe is really just doing its best to hammer the message home…
So I met today’s guest, as I mention on the podcast, while playing crab walk tag in the mud, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am that we ended up kidnapped and stuck in the back seat of a car with a musician and another future Finding Our Hunger podcast guest–and woefully without ice cream–on our last night at Paleo F(X).
Marilyn Olmsted is probably one of my favorite people on the planet. She’s got the right mix of acerbic wit and genuine empathy, and her ability to communicate on a deep level will surely set her up on her new path to engaging her community in a conversation about how to improve their health through nutrition and fitness.
Like many of the Finding Our Hunger guests, Marilyn’s standing at a fork in the road. Her journey has taken her down many paths of success–in business and in life–and while she’s risking a lot by leaving the road she felt “expected” to travel, I’m certain that the risk is worth the reward of beating a new path.
You can connect with Marilyn on Facebook, because she likes friends(!), and hear her story over at FindingOurHunger.com.
